Casio G Shock September 6, 2010 muffed01 Great watch!! I have tried them all this is the only one that I will buy that will hold up and still look classy enough to wear for a night out or to interview a perspective client!!
Casio g-shock watch September 3, 2010 D. Cone (sacramento, CA) This watch was everything I expected. I had one like it in the past and it lasted for years. I am hoping for the same here. Nice to have it back on my wrist!
great watch August 22, 2010 Dennis I bought my first Casio G-shock more than 17 years ago i am very tough on my watches this casio G-shock was the best investment i ever made i am on watch number 3 currently the first one i made the mistake of washing some items with a very corresive cleaner with out remvoing it even with that it took me 8 years to destroy it my second one i had for aprox. 4 years i made the mistake of taking that watch to a dealer who did not have the knowledge of how handle the watch and when he changed the batter he did not get the casket in correctly and it started leaking moisture into the watch but no water and i am on the third now and very happy each time i have purchased the same casio G-shock DW6600 and if i ever need another watch i would purchase this same one again i find it easy to read display the back lights up the face very well i find the band to be very durable and very comfortable at the same time i recomond this watch hightly
Casio G-Shock July 31, 2010 RrT All and all, an excellent watch, although there have been some cometic changes since my previous model: it is no longer "true" black but charcoal and the bezel is a bit thinner. It is what it is.
I have wanted to replace my original "G" for sometime but it is difficult to find this classic model in the stores. Online is the only way, and the cheapest. As much as I do love the watch, I can give it only 4 stars because my original "G" -- which I owned for nearly 10 years -- was killed by $3.00 battery. Since it was my main watch, when the battery died, I would immediately get a new one and put it in. Leaving a dead battery in a watch, like anything, is not a good idea. It will eventually corrode. Speaking with a Casio representative, he told that it was possible when the battery dies it releases a gas that kills the watch, even if you do replace it in a matter of days.
Ah, the irony. The "G" is meant to withstand the toughest of elements, but is done in by a $3.00 battery. That being said, it is a wonderful watch.
So far so good July 29, 2010 Y. Seligman (USA) I have only had it for about a month or so at this point, but I am very happy with it. The red 'G' on the face can barely be seen and doesn't bother me at all. Seems quite rugged, and rather light weight for its size.
