Amazon.com Product Description A tried and true style great for casual wear, the Casio Classic black digital watch for men will help to ensure you won't miss another appointment again. It offers a daily alarm and hourly time signal (which can be turned off), as well as an auto-calendar function (pre-programmed until the year 2039). Additionally, it includes a stopwatch that can time events down to 1/100 of a second, and features a 60-minute capacity, split time, and 1st-2nd place times. The black resin case is matched to a gently tapered, nicely comfortable black resin strap. Other features include a ±30-second accuracy per month, micro light for low-light conditions, scratch-resistant mineral crystal, and water resistance to 50 meters (165 feet)--suitable for swimming but not for diving.

Great Cheap Watch June 26, 2010 R. Bates (Sacramento, CA, USA) I'm a Service tech for a major alarm company and i love this watch, i've broken a couple swiss army watches already, and this thing is a great alternative to them, because if i break it, it costs just as much to get a brand new one as it does to replace the swiss army watch's band alone. <3 Casio
Love the simplicity, although it is a bit on the small side June 20, 2010 Louis Coniglio (Georgia) Great watch, although I was a little surprised by the smallness. Perhaps in my mind, seeing these types of watches as a kid, I guess I thought it would be a little larger. But it has all the functions I personally will ever need. Stopwatch, 24 hour time, a simple light, and date. Only issue I would say, is scrolling too quickly thru the 3 'screens' prompts you to reset the time. Not a big issue, but I have inadvertently advanced the time more than once. Still, it's a fine watch and for the price, can't be beat.
Good watch-terrible band June 10, 2010 T. Morris (Idaho) I've been buying the Casio Men's A158W-1 Classic Digital Bracelet Watch for years and finally gave up on them because the buttons stick, the metal flakes and especially because of the slipping clasp. This is pretty much the same watch... just a different band and a plastic trim rather than the metal. I bought this one hoping for an improvement in the band and, for the price, I don't really care about the other problems I've had with it that will surely come with use.
This is, by far, the worst band I've ever had. It's hard to put on; the holes are far apart so there's little adjustment; and the strap holder doesn't stay in place so the end of the strap hangs out in space and catches on everything. If you want a cheap watch that works fine this is a good buy but you should be prepared for wanting to replace the band as soon as you wear it. Casio makes a good watch and I beat the tar out of them working outdoors and in construction so I don't like paying too much and feel bad when I crack the face.
I'd go 5 stars for the watch, 1 for the band only because it does keep the watch on your wrist so the average is a 3.
If it's Good Enough... May 29, 2010 Sahlerna If it's good enough for radical extremists, then it's good enough for little ole' me.
Great Watch May 17, 2010 Richard Sornoza [...] . I use this watch every day and im a lifeguard so im in the pool every other day and the watch is going strong, i just have a really bad tan line. The only thing is that its TO easy to change the time and alarm but its not that big of a deal.
